Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters met personally to build hype for next month's bout.
Ex two-time world boxing king Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
Despite such comments, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British opponent Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.
Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's largest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul participated in the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is really proceeding.
